Fatal Error M15-16A

If you are getting the Mech-Q error message:

Fatal Error M15-16A

Cannnot find compatible version of Autocad on your computer

Mech-Q will fail

(or similar)

This suggest that Mech-Q for AutoCAD 2006 is still finding an OLDER version of Mech-Q installed on your computer (for example Mech-Q for AutoCAD 2005)

Please make sure that only the latest version of Mech-Q can be found in AutoCAD search path...

To check the AutoCAD search path, frrom the AutoCAD "Tools" menu select "Options", then check the AutoCAD search path under "Files Search path"

You should only have the location of Mech-Q for AutoCAD (latest version) in the list "Files Search path". If other versions of Mech-Q are found in the "Files Search path" list - Delete them
