Duct 3D Bends

When drawing 3D ducting we recommend that you start by first drawing a line or polyline outline representing the duct route. The next step would be to add all the fittings (Bends, Tees, Diffusers, transitions...) in the correct locations and then finish by drawing straight & flexible duct as required between the fittings.

Drawing of 3D duct bends

Start the duct bends module and set the size and shape.
Set the 3D toggle - ON   & other options according to your needs.

Select the "Draw" tab.

The program will prompt you for the  "Insertion Point"  - Select the corner point of elbow (If you have a line outline of the ducting route... this will be easy to do)

next

"Duct upstream direction:" - Select a point that represents one of the directions of the ducting route from the corner

next

"Duct new direction:"  - Select a point that represents the other direction of the ducting route.

The duct bend will be drawn.
